Full Sized Vehicles:
• Accepted vehicles include North American car, station wagon, and half ton SUV and trucks. No lifted vehicles allowed
• IFS 4x4 ½ ton allowed, must remove front drive shaft (no leaf spring solid axels or leaf string front ends)
• No convertible or T-tops • All side and rear glass must be removed, front windshield may be left in
• All doors, hood and trunk must be bolted, welded or chained shut. No handles.
• Factory fuel tank must be removed
• Radiator must remain in stock location, cooling system intact. No antifreeze
• Transmission coolers may be relocated inside. Hoses and lines must be rated for transmission coolers
• No mirrors • Motors must be cleaned of excess oil and grease Safety and Build Rules:
• May use 1 (minimum 8” to maximum 12”) channel iron on driver side and must not protrude no more than 6” into front fender or rear quarter panel/box side. Must be secured with minimum 3/4” or 1” bolts (minimum 4 bolts required. Channel must have ends tapered at each end. Bolt through crash bar and door. Must have minimum 4 point cage/roll bar
• May cement drivers side door ¾ way full (must fill 28 days prior). Must have 4 point roll bar
• Full race cage with 3 driver’s door bars (see Street Stock requirements)
• If running old stock car, no bars can pass beyond rear of A-arms, and no rear bars past center of rear diff
• Minimum 4 point roll bar with support bar behind seat. Roll bar must be welded to frame or have 6”x6” ¼ plate base. Roll bars to use minimum 1¾” pipe .095 thick
• No grader blades
• No passengers
• Seats must have a proper head rest. Racing seats recommended
• Must use a race approved 5 point harness WITHIN THE MANUFACTURERS EXPIRY DATE, - No stock seatbelts – properly mounted. May use factory lower belt bolt mounts
• All batteries must be securely mounted of car in passenger compartment and covered with a rubber mat
• Fuel tank must be a metal outboard boat tank or better (fuel cell), securely fastened (not bungeed) to floor of rear passenger compartment of car. Trucks to mount fuel tank in front middle of box. Must have shield/cover and must be secured with metal
• No stock fuel tanks allowed • Vehicles with boat tanks must have metal fire shield in casing tank
• Vehicles with fuel cells must have metal fire shield covering top of tank
• Steel fuel lines with no more than 12 consecutive inches of rubber line at each end. Metal fuel filter only – no plastic or glass. May run line through passenger compartment, securely fastened. Fuel injected vehicles must run rated lines for fuel injection
• If you are running on electric fuel pump, it must be wired through a separate switch, clearly marked
• All switches must be clearly marked • Must use race window net mounted in a secure removable fashion accessible by driver
• Front rad hoop allowed – 4 point maximum 2 ½” O.D., mounted inside motor compartment, not to cage, and not to extend past front bumper, and to be at least 8” shorter than bumper (on each end)
• Minimum 1/8” thick bar installed up middle of windshield opening – all vehicles
• Fire extinguisher mounted securely within driver reach
• All holes in firewalls must be tinned over
• All exhaust pipes must extend at least 6” past end of transmission
• Zoomies (exhaust that exit through hood) must run with windshield
• Number maximum 2 digits, 18” high and 3” thick on doors and roof
• Must have 2 four inch holes in hood for fire extinguisher access
• No racing tires on any hit to pass vehicles
• Hit to pass running rules to stay same
• All cars run previous to 2022 rules are grandfathered in until they have expired
• All out of town cars may run their home town rules, as long as they have paper copy in hand and meet our safety standards HIT TO PASS RUNNING RULES
• Full Size Hit To Pass will be Last Man Standing – no laps will be counted
• Pits will be closed after 30 – 40 minutes depending on car count or if only 4 cars remain for 10 minutes
• After 10 minutes the last 4 cars will be red flagged to start demolition style on front stretch until the finish
• Safety first – helmets must be DOT or Snell 2015 SA approved and in good condition. NO OPEN FACED HELMETS. (Please contact Techman or TMS Director if this is an issue for you)
• Must wear treated coveralls or racing suit, helmet, gloves, and eye protection (face mask or goggles).
• No hitting in driver’s door. • No turning on track or going in opposite direction.
• No brake spiking.
PIT ENTRANCE RULES:
Everyone in the pits must comply with all other track rules within the rule book. Waiver forms must be signed by all persons entering the pit area. No children under the age of 10 are permitted in the pit area. Pit passes/wrist bands must be worn appropriately. ABSOLUTELY NO DRUGS OR ALCOHOL PERMITTED.
Anyone not complying with pit rules will be asked to leave the pit area
